The album produced by member Derek Webb will be priced at only $3.99. The following day, Raising Up the Dead will release to all digital retailers. The 12 song record from the Texas-based band released directly to fans via the band’s website in mid-Sept. Caedmonscall.com received over 11,000 downloads of a free advanced preview of the record, including “Sometimes A Beggar” and “She,” in the first week alone. Twitter was also lighting up with fans both promoting and sharing the link to the free music.
With career sales exceeding 1 million albums and going on 16 years in the industry, Texas-based band Caedmon’s Call has made the leap from independent act to Christian music mainstay. Caedmon’s Call has launched sixteen national releases. Among its accolades is; an Album of the Year Dove Award, a Billboard Music Video Award nomination and seven No. 1 radio singles.
